Intimacy Coordinator
El Wood (She/They) is a certified Intimacy Coordinator based in the UK. El was trained by SAG-AFTRA accredited Intimacy Directors & Coordinators (NYC).
She has served as Lead IC on productions for Warner Bros., Apple TV+, Netflix, Amazon MGM Studios, Legendary Entertainment, BBC, Lionsgate, Hulu, Channel 4 and Sky Max, collaborating with Oscar- and BAFTA-winning filmmakers.
With over a decade of experience across the entertainment industry, El brings a multidisciplinary perspective to intimacy coordination. She tailors her approach to each production, recognising that every performer and production is unique. She prioritises performer wellbeing while supporting the director's vision, creating clear, consent-led processes that serve both.
Her work spans all aspects of intimacy and nudity on screen, supporting storytelling beyond sexual intimacy. Her approach is informed by her continuing studies in humanistic counselling and trauma-informed practice, bringing a nuanced understanding of communication and human behaviour.
